Thank you to everyone who has returned their Follow Up questionnaire so far!
We are currently in the process of sending the last of our Year 5 Questionnaires out to OPAL participants. We would be very grateful to receive a completed Year 5 Follow Up questionnaire from any participants who have not yet returned theirs.

This is a study about health outcomes in older adults. We are surveying over 4,000 adults across England to see how health and physical activity change over time. The information that we collect will help us to understand how a person’s health affects their mobility as they age, and provide insight into improving the management of health in older adults.

We have invited people from across England to take part in the OPAL survey. If you have been selected to participte you will receive a letter in the post from your GP, along with a copy of the survey and a consent form. You can find out more information about the study on this website. If you have questions about participating, please do get in touch with the Research Team.

The Oxford Pain, Activity and Lifestyle (OPAL) study is a 5-year survey which looks at how people's health and physical activity change over time. We are working with around 40 GP practices across England to assist with the identification and follow-up of eligible patients. Information for GP practices interested in supporting this work.
